Community Engagement

Engaging our communities

B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) is a strong believer in helping improve the quality of life in the communities in which our employees work and live. We do this through investing in a vast array of art, educational and environmental programs through corporate contributions, employee volunteerism and in-kind donations. Our employees commit approximately 1,600 hours annually volunteering in their local communities.

Contributions to our local communities include:

  • Sponsorship and volunteer support for Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania's premier non-profit arts event Musikfest, since 1984
  • School supply and clothing donations to schools and community centers
  • Career development programs
  • Blood drives
  • Our Texas facility participates in the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas cooking program, planning menus, shopping for food, and preparing meals for the families staying in the Ronald McDonald House. Since 2005, volunteer time has averaged about 350 hours per year
  • One of our core objectives is to ensure that healthcare professionals have the education and solutions to deliver quality care. That’s why we partner with Temple University and other teaching institutions to provide safety-engineered IV infusion solutions and teach students best practices
