Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Christina Michalek Recognized for Contribution to Patient Safety in Community with an ISMP Cheers Award
Bethlehem, PA, February 9, 2010 — A Lehigh Valley Health Network pharmacist has won national recognition for her dedication to reducing medication errors – and kudos from B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) for achieving the honor.
Christina Michalek, RPh, Director of Pharmacy for Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA, was recently honored with an Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Cheers Award in the Volunteer category for her dedication in serving as a resource on pharmacy operations and medication-related technology.
