B. Braun, Aesculap and CAPS Employees Join Forces to Raise Funds for Via

Twenty-four teams made up of nearly 2,000 employees from the U.S. B. Braun Group of Companies participated in the Lehigh Valley Health Network Relay Marathon for Via (LVHN Marathon).

The fundraising event supports Via of the Lehigh Valley, an organization that provides key services and support to residents with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome since 1954. Via offers children, adults, and their families quality services that facilitate developmental and educational opportunities, as well as personal choice of career, home, leisure, and retirement. B. Braun/Aesculap colleagues have participated in the marathon for the past 9 years and have raised more than $120,000. This year was the first time CAPS entered a team.

The LVHN Marathon is a unique five (5) person team relay and the course starts at Lehigh Valley Hospital and runs through the beautiful Lehigh River canal towpath to Easton. Relay legs range from 3.6 to 6.2 miles, so runners from novice to expert can enjoy the course.
