Bethlehem, PA — April 26, 2012 — B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) will attend INS 2012 with their latest development in safety-engineered medical devices, the Introcan Safety® 3 Closed IV Catheter. The new product includes the proven passive protection from needlestick injuries that has made B. Braun the U.S. leader in passive safety-engineered IV catheters. Advancements in the new Introcan Safety® 3's design include the unique multi-access blood control septum to protect healthcare professionals from blood exposure and an integrated stabilization platform that helps to improve catheter stability and minimize movement within the vessel. "Recent research confirms passive safety engineered devices are most effective for needlestick injury prevention," said Tom Sutton, Vice President, Vascular Access and IV Systems for B. Designed for exclusive use with B. Braun's PAB® Partial Additive Bags, the redesigned BC2000 can be assembled in an ISO Class 5 environment, provides a safe, accurate means of admixing medications in the pharmacy and on the nursing floor, and is not manufactured with potentially harmful DEHP phthalates.

- B. Braun Employee Giving Supports Make-a-Wish
Bethlehem, PA — February 27, 2012 — B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) was recognized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation® on February 27th for donations valuing over $21,000. It was the second year since Make-A-Wish was selected as the Foundation to be supported by a campaign that is annually integrated into the company's National Sales Meeting. Cash and airline mile donations from the three-hundred-thirty meeting attendees were matched by the company so that the wishes of six children from the Lehigh Valley can be granted. This year's campaign produced a 62% increase over 2011.

- Needlestick Safety Remains Top Concern for Healthcare Professionals in the New Year
