Stimuplex A Needles
The A Series needles feature a fully insulated needle shaft and are available in 6 lengths with appropriate diameters. The needle tips have an atraumatic special short bevel to reduce the risk of nerve damage. The 30° bevel of the A Series needles glides smoothly through all tissue layers, and easily identifies the perivascular space by a distinct "click".

To better address your safety concerns for superficial peripheral nerve blocks such as the interscalene block, we've added 2 new A Series needles to our line. The STIMA2225 is our 22G × 1 inch insulated block needle, and the STIMA2235 is our 22G × 1 3/8 inch insulated block needle. The 22G needle shaft size enhances injection rates (as compared to our 24G × 1 inch needle), and the shorter needle lengths (as compared to our 22G × 2 inch Stimuplex needle) help minimize the risk of advancing the needle tip too far.

All B. Braun insulated needles used with Stimuplex feature electrode wires integrated into the needle hubs. Pre-attached extension tubing allows the physician to maintain good "immobile needle" technique after localizing the target nerve.

Stimuplex D Needles
The D Series needles feature a special completely coated needle with only the pinpoint electrode tip of the needle exposed. This concentrates the entire stimulus current at the very needle tip. This ideal pinpoint electrode enables precise localization of the nerve at the lowest threshold currents.

The complete coating of the needle results in an atraumatic tip with smooth puncture characteristics and excellent tactile feedback.

The D Series Needles come in your choice of 15° or 30° short bevels. Your personal preference of puncture force and gliding characteristics will dictate your choice in needles.
