B. Braun Renal Therapies Division Announces Enhanced Offerings for Hemodialysis System

1100g Solcart B® Cartridge for use with the Dialog+® Hemodialysis System enables safe and efficient dispensing of bicarbonate for custom therapies

Bethlehem, PA – November 15, 2011 – Improving staff efficiency and providing greater safety for renal therapy patients, B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) announced today the availability of an 1100g Solcart B Cartridge for use with the Dialog+ Hemodialysis System, the leading method used in the treatment of patients with kidney failure.

The 1100g Solcart B cartridge touts the highest volume capacity of any B. Braun Solcart B bicarbonate cartridge, which until now had a maximum volume of 760 grams. In addition to being more economical and producing less waste, the larger size cartridge will allow Solcart B to be used for patients requiring customized therapies.
