B. Braun Signs U.S. Distributor Agreement for Dialysis Water Purification Systems

B. Braun and Lauer enter into an exclusive distributor agreement

Bethlehem, PA – October 2, 2013 – B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) announced today that it has entered into an exclusive distributor agreement with Lauer’s Medical Water Purification to sell the Aquaboss® in-center water treatment systems in the U.S. The distribution relationship of the Lauer Aquaboss system is not new to B.Braun. Currently, B. Braun’s affiliates have sold and distributed Lauer water treatment systems in various countries all over the world. Lauer is an independent, family-owned company that has been totally focused on dialysis water purification for more than 18 years.

“We know our customers are looking for innovative technology to improve water quality and reduce the ownership costs. We are proud to enter into this exclusive agreement with Lauer in the U.S.,” said Sam Amory, Vice President, Avitum Division at B.Braun. “This alliance further bolsters B.Braun’s market position as a full-system supplier of dialysis products and services and supports Lauer´s growth through the strong international sales network in the U.S. and abroad,” added Amory.
