Visit us at booth #816

Bethlehem, PA – October 4, 2013 – B. Braun Medical Inc. (B.Braun) will once again exhibit its products at the Cerner Health Conference (CHC) at booth (#816), which will be held at the Kansas City Convention Center, October 6th-9th. The CHC attracts more than 10,000 attendees from a wide variety of healthcare leaders, IT professionals, practice managers and a broad section of industry professionals. The conference provides a unique opportunity for education, peer networking and the opportunity to view many live solutions in healthcare integration through the Cerner Solutions Gallery.

As a Cerner Certified Medical Device partner, B.Braun will be featuring its Infusion Systems platforms within the Cerner Solutions Gallery, including the B.Braun Infusomat® Space, Perfusor® Space and the Outlook® 400ES Safety Infusion System with our DoseTrac® Infusion Management Software. Within the Solutions Gallery, attendees can see live integration from a variety of medical devices to Cerner’s connectivity solutions.

B.Braun also has several ongoing projects to interface Space and Outlook ES pumps with the Cerner Millenium Electronic Medical Record system.  In doing so, B.Braun has worked closely with Cerner’s Device Works integration team on the integration of the Space and Outlook pumps to the Cerner Millennium Electronic Medical Record.

At the Infusion Management solutions booth in the Solution Gallery, attendees can view auto-programming of the Outlook 400ES infusion pump through Cerner’s bar code medication administration workflow.

Both B.Braun and Cerner Corporation are core participants in the evolution toward the use of electronic medical records and providing meaningful use data in healthcare improvement and quality initiatives.
