After 17 years at B. Braun, Shawn Conrad has learned that there’s more than one way to move ahead at this company if you’re willing to take that extra step. He says he reached a point in his life when it was time to do something for himself, so he resumed his education. Not trying new things can lead to regrets, he warns. His advice? “Straight up, do it.”

Jesse Laubach was 19 when he joined B. Braun in 1991. He never finished high school – something he regrets – but took advantage of the opportunities offered by B. Braun to continue his education. He says age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning and that with knowledge comes confidence. He credits B. Braun with being an employer that gives employees the tools to make changes along their career paths. “It’s never too late. Never,” he says.
A temporary associate’s position in 2016 grew into a supervisory role for Joseph Bertino. But not without hard work on Joseph’s part and being aware of all the pathways to success B. Braun offers. Being motivated to want to advance his career – and his life in general – led him to seek out education, training and certification opportunities. “So many opportunities,” he says.
