B. Braun Medical Receives FDA Clearance for Introcan Safety® 2 Deep Access IV Catheter
We're proud to announce that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted 510(k) clearance for our newest innovation in vascular access, the Introcan Safety® 2 Deep Access IV Catheter. This new longer-length IV catheter, designed to increase catheter dwell time, offers fully automatic, passive needlestick protection and multi-access blood control.

B. Braun Medical Announces First U.S. Conversion to NRFit® Connectors
We announced that Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota is the first hospital in the U.S. to convert to NRFit® Connectors. This milestone event promotes patient safety by preventing devices meant for neuraxial administration from connecting to devices used in other applications. While this is the first NRFit Connector conversion in the U.S., B. Braun has supported more than 3,000 conversions worldwide.
